Introduction to PI®

The Predictive Index process is a combination of Employee Assessment, Education and Consulting. At the core of that process are the Predictive Index survey, a workplace-related behavioural assessment tool which helps managers identify the drives and motivations of their people; and the PRO, which helps you identify the behaviours and drives necessary for superior performance on a specific job. Combined, they provide managers with invaluable insights for employee retention, coaching, leadership development, team performance and more. The end result – improved performance and productivity for your entire organisation.
 
A key element of the PI® process is the education of managers within your oganisation in the interpretation and use of Predictive Index data.  In our PI® workshops managers become skilled at working with all the elements of PI® and gain insights into the many ways PI® can be used to leverage their people to drive performance in their business.

The PI® Checklist: It all starts with a simple checklist

It appears to be a simple adjective checklist, however the Predictive Index (PI) is a scientifically validated behavioural profiling instrument; a reliable predictor of work-related behaviour. As anyone who has completed a PI® will tell you, the results are uncannily accurate.

The PRO: How do you know who is right for the job?

Before you match a person to a job, you have to know what the job requires. That’s where the PRO (Performance Requirement Options) worksheet comes in. The PRO gives you a road map for the various positions in your organisation, providing insight into the behaviours and drives necessary for superior performance.
 
The PRO and the PI® work together. The PRO helps you understand the specific behaviours that lead to most effective performance in a particular job, given the realities of your organisations products, markets, processes and management. It describes the drives and behaviours that are necessary for success, and also gives you an insight into similarities and differences that might exist in various individuals’ approaches to the same job.
You can compare an individuals PI® results with the needs of the job, highlighting both fits and gaps to make better-informed selection, coaching, performance management and leadership decisions.
